Ralf Luthe - General Manager

Mr. Ralf Luthe started his professional hotel career with Four Seasons Munich, Germany when he was only a teenager. At age 20 he began his journey outside Germany as he joined luxury resort operations in London, Paris, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Thailand. He arrived in Bali in 1987 to work at Putri Bali Hotel as a chef. In 1990 he worked for Grand Bali Beach, and in 1991 he was transferred to the sister property in Manado as Food & Beverage Manager. In 1992, he returned to Grand Bali Beach as Food & Beverage Manager and Resident Manager. In January 1993, Mr. Luthe accepted a new challenge as General Manager at Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali. For over 18 years he showed his tremendous work and dedication to this resort that has a good list of accomplishments. Another challenge came in late 2011 from Samabe Bali Suites & Villas – Grand Mirage's sister property.

Bagus Satria Wijaya - Executive Chef

Bagus Satria is the Executive Chef, the artisan behind the kitchen door. He reports directly to the General Manager.
His main job is to design the menu of Rempah-Rempah and Crystal Blue based on the demand of the market , monitoring the quality and hygiene of the ingredients and the food served. Bagus is also in charge to make sure that all the guests have great gastronomy experiences.
He joined Samabe in June 2016. Prior to join Samabe, Bagus worked with in Amatera Villa for a year. He brings his years of experience of working in top hotels in Indonesia such as Amanusa, and Mulia Bali to the kitchen of Samabe.
He has graduated from Kertawisata Singaraja.

Samabe Butler Manager

Ketut Kusumajaya - Butler Manager

Ketut Kusumajaya familiar as Mr. Jay-Z is the Butler Manager of Samabe Bali Suites & Villas. Reporting to Resident Manager as the second person in the luxury Bali villa, Jay-Z assures that every guest will leave Samabe with a good impression on the resort. On top of that, he is the quality controller of butler team service as well as the trainer. He updates the knowledge of the team once a month.
Jay-Z joined Samabe in April 2013 as an Assistant of Butler Manager. He accepted a challenge to work in the new position in April 2016. Prior to his duty at Samabe, he worked in international chain hotel in Kempinski Hotel Dubai, Jimbaran Orient Holiday Bali and in Holland cruise.
He is graduated from Hotel Management Diploma at STP Nusa Dua, Bali in 2002.

Kadek Gede Damayasa - Executive Housekeeper

Hyun Yumi – Front Office Manager

The Korean born woman joined Samabe Bali in 2014 as a Korean Guest Relation Officer (GRO) after her tenure in Costa Cruise, a prominent Asian cruise. Then she gets promoted as a Front Office Manager. Prior to her job as a children counselor in the cruise, she taught English which shows that she has excellent spoken and written English in addition to her mother language, Korean language. Yumi has graduated from Pu Kyung National University majoring in Korean Language and Literature.
Yumi is confident that she can lead the Front Office team consisting youthful bell men and Guest Relations officers to ensure that every guest will have memorable stay experiences at Samabe as well as inspiring them.
